So… let’s recap.
Basically, Blair was super busy trying to put together a perfect fashion show for EWD. Serena was busy pretending to be step-mom to Nate’s teenaged girlfriend. Chuck was busy multi-tasking between helping Blair succeed in her endeavors and taking down Bart. Dan was being a douche to absolutely everyone, as per usual, and everyone knows it. Nate was being screwed over by Dan and screwing his barely pubescent girlfriend.

CosmicLoveCB has many, many feels after watching the premiere of the final season of GG. First, it’s been a LONG TIME since we were interested in the story as a whole, rather than just wringing our hands and hoping against hope that Chuck wouldn’t end up killing himself by the end of each episode. So there’s that.
Lily wins World’s Worst Mom Award (although she is ironically the BEST mom to Chuck–not that the bar there is very high or even existent) which is perfect considering that she has renewed her vows with the World’s Worst Dad. She SERIOUSLY hasn’t spoken to her daughter for an entire summer, and just assumes everything must be hunky dory? Wow. Rufus has surpassed even his ever-douchey son in douchiness and obliviousness, Dan got bitchslapped twice, Ivy is… icky, Nate is…RELEVANT (yes, you read that correctly)–and Chuck and Blair? Well, their only flaw is being flawless.

We LOVE everything! The dress, the hair, the headband, the earrings, everything! She looks beautiful and like royalty (only better, since she looked atrocious at her actual royal wedding). We love that she’s in blue and we love the style of the dress; it’s very classic Blair. Modest, yet sexy at the same time. It actually makes us quite emotional. :’-)
Anonymous asked: What if there is a flash forward in the series finale that shows Dair are together and not Chair or Derena? Would you be shocked or angry or both?
Or… what if in the flash forward, we learn that Dan is a serial killer and that Nate is a hermaphrodite? WHAT. IF. Hahaha, seriously those scenarios are just as likely (or more?) as the one you proposed. We have said this over and over again: even if Chuck were to hang himself by his scarf or jump off the Empire State Building, EVEN THEN, Blair would not love Dan. Plus, about a million other reasons why this is never going to happen. In the .00000000000001% chance that this does happens, our reaction would best be described as confused, as this ending wouldn’t follow the story GG has been telling for 5+ years.

He could be Milo, Dan and Serena’s child, Chuck and Blair’s child or even just a random extra. The possibilities are endless! We think it’s likely we’ll get a glimpse of Milo, Dan and Serena’s kid(s) AND CB’s kid(s) before series end.
We do think the chances of him being CB’s son are good. After all, it’s been foreshadowed to the Nth degree that CB will have a child together and that it will most likely be a boy. With that said, we never take anything Trollsiello says to heart. Guarded optimism is always the way to go in our book!

Just because the ring isn’t on her finger doesn’t mean they aren’t engaged. Blair is still wearing Chuck’s ring on a necklace, and like we’ve said before, we really don’t think it’s a promise ring. But, we could be wrong. All we know is that we really know nothing, despite the “spoilers” being circulated (if you can even call them that). We still predict (and want) a low-key Cyrus/Eleanor type wedding for Chuck and Blair, meaning little planning and just a sudden realization that it’s time. This is definitely doable in 6.10.
Anonymous asked: Hi ladies, love your blog. I was wondering what you think of Leighton's new interview. She doesn't seem very into the show at all anymore. Do you think that's because of all the DB/CB stuff from season 5?
Thank you! :-) The interview in our opinions was perfectly lovely. We’ve seen some concern that Leighton doesn’t wax poetic on Chuck and Blair (which therefore means she obviously hates CB, DUH), but we doubt that Leighton cares that much about ships—she’s an actress, not a shipper. Even if she did and Leighton was the biggest Dair or Nair or whatever shipper on the planet, it wouldn’t matter. Her opinion regarding who Blair should end up with is of relatively little significance to us since she’s not a writer, and therefore, has little bearing on what happens on the show. What we took from the interview is that Leighton is looking forward to moving on from GG, which we think is natural. From stills and promos, she still appears to be giving 100%, which is really all that matters. Most importantly, Leighton said she was happy (and thought fans would be happy) with the way the show was going. And that’s good enough for us. Thanks for the ask!

This is a great question! We are firm believers that Chuck and Blair are far more than just sex and we love talking about their “platonic” moments! :-)
For Season One, we are forever in love with 1.07. Hold up—we know how to read and we know you asked for nonsexual scenes. As much as we ADORE the limo scene, we’re actually talking about Chuck and Blair’s interaction at Victrola earlier in the episode, when Chuck tells Blair she is his second toughest critic and Blair tells Chuck that he made her proud. We love this because it shows how close they were even before they slept together/romance was even an option. This scene was a great example of Chuck and Blair as friends…you know, friends with insane sexual chemistry.
In Season Two, we loved watching Chuck and Blair team up to take down Gabriel and Poppy in 2.23. Again, they’re attempting to be friends/work together to help Serena, but really it was all about staying connected to each other (which both Serena and Nate knew).
The hospital scene in 3.12 is not only our favorite scene from Season Three, but it makes our top five favorite scenes of all time. It’s just beautiful. Chuck and Blair are so sweet to each other in that scene and it truly encompasses how they will always be there for one another no matter what. We also love Blair’s line, “You carry people. You carry me.”
As for Season Four, we don’t think we can choose just one. It’s a toss up between 4.02 and 4.22. We loved 4.02 because of the gorgeous imagery and foreshadowing in the Paris scene. The bar mitzvah scene in 4.22 was also full of foreshadowing and we loved seeing Chuck and Blair happy and dancing.
The apology scene in 5.06 is our favorite from Season Five. Everything about that scene was perfect. Chuck’s apology, Blair’s reaction, the music, the looks on their faces—so moving.
